The smell is definitely coming through the vents, and smells oiley if anything.. Although I did have the thermostat housing changed a couple of months ago, as it was leaking. so perhaps that might be leaking.. or residue from that original leak could be burning off I suppose?

It’s more of a diesel / engine smell.. and a little acrid, causing me to open the window

Hi everyone Recently I’ve been experiencing what I can only describe as fumes in the cabin of my SD4 Freelander 2, coming though the heating/cooling system… not all the time but more now than before… Has anyone else experienced this? Or know of what the cause may be? Cheers

Its a 2011 free lander 2, so just before the last refresh.. Its not noisy in the car generally, a low mileage example, the sat nav cuts in at a good volume. But when you take calls its extremely low volume.

Only had the car for a month, so its been like it since I had it... Cant find any way to adjust it as the volume controls seem to make no difference... For the record I'm not going deaf.. not yet at least LOL...

Morning all Does anyone know how to increase the volume when hands free calling on a freelander 2?.. I've tried turning the volume up and the buttons on the wheel, which both go up to 30. But this makes no difference. Cheers

Since posting this earlier today I’ve been doing a bit of digging… The DVD player is under the front drivers seat, that’s easy enough.. I’ve come across a number of Denso /Denso like MMM2 discs that are supposedly up to 2023/24 maps.. Do any of you guys have any experience of the replacements/...

Morning all I wanted to know what sat nav upgrades / updates are available for the Freelander 2 built in sat nav? I’m assuming there is a disc hidden somewhere? but the system is very similar to one I had in a 2009 XF…My car is a 2010/11 model… I could buy a suitable phone cradle and use...

I’m very happy… she’s not perfect but for 12/13 years old what can you expect.. Drives very well.. taking her in next week to a local LR Specialist to have a few fluid changes, Haldex etc.. just to be on the safe side.. Timing belt and water pump was done 18 months ago..

Ok… so now I’ve had time to clean her up a bit I have more pictures to post 👍
