interesting , so you are saying , we have to trick the ecu with a boost box to allow higher boost AND trick the maf to allow more air ? were does one find a MAF trick box , i`ll shortly go for a trash with the nanocom and see what my maf allows , good little write up dude

i have a 5 seater gs disco 2 td5 1999 , i have recently removed the rear seats , mainly to give the insides a big clean , tons and tons of room when they out , can`t see any problems , blinking heavy lifting the double seat out tho

Had her a few weeks now , all the usual done , egr , single box , tidy bits up , empty water from headlight , that got bust the first day I had , changed the oils in the diffs n boxes at the weekend too . This my first chance to get a picture :) dynachip next , I'll email them after Xmas :)

everymod so far has put a smile on my face , n this one tops them all , so far i`ve......... removed egr cleaned all them engine sensors new air filter replaced the turbo modulator thing on side of engine a few turns on the turbo wastegate removed the mid exhaust pipe new discs n pads fitted...

Well I say , my 1999 td5 manual disco 2 has just got a lot lot better ( while I wait for dynachip ) removed that gigantic mid box and replaced the back box . Holy cow batman , she goes like stink and sounds fantastic , still quiet inside also :) superb

found some 16x8 steel wheels for the disco 2 at a bargin price , i`ll get some cheapo remoulds the same size as fitted now and go orf n get stuck again :) no motorway stuff , just very local farmers field n woods n stuff like that , can`t wait to try again , yeeeee harrrrrrrr

Due to ice , I thought I'd cheat n use the disco 2 td5 to do the morning commute , what a warm and very comfy she be :) and now she's tweaked , she hits the engine limiter in the first 4 gears , next job , Intercooler and re-map , nice one Mr Land Rover
