Hi, My mechanic is trying to fit a Synergy 2a plus a Pierburg MAF 7.22684.07.0, but he says that the MAF is 10mm to tall for the airbox, did you have to do some modifications?

Hi, Has anyone in the Freelander Group had experience of fitting a Synergy 2A and a Pierburg MAF to a Freelander TD4 2004 facelift model?? My mechanic says that the MAF is 10mm to tall. Has anyone fitted a Synergy? If so, have they used the original MAF or another make?
