In my personal opinion (speaking more for the disco rrc owners) we fit lift kits because the commonly used tyre size of 31inch or 235/85 r16 simply wont fit inside the wheel arches. Even with a lift some arch modifications are normally needed.

I may well be wrong wrong but also thinking of doing a 3.5 v8 rebuild on carbs and have been told that fitting a 3.9 cam is a cheap mans way of uprating a 3.5 engine?
Please correct me if im wrong as advice can vastly vary!?

Like the others say, dizzy sealing is everything.
Its definately worth pulling the ECU loom back up into the dash and cable tieing it behind the lower dash panel benieth the steering colunm along with the relays.
Another easy mod is to pull the coil back to inside the passenger footwell but...
