well on the DYNO its 182 BHP at the rear wheels with front prop off
13.8 bhp loss with each axle on my 110.
cost was roughly £330

I got it running on the mega-squirt system, works a treat and i would definitely recommend it to anyone who is thinking of going down that route.
A little on the complicated side but once you have got your head around it its not too bad.

They will fit but you will need to space them out at both the front and the rear because on the rear they are to close to the chassis (tyre depending) and at the front they wont fit on over the hub and pull all the way up on the studs.
I have put those very same wheels onto my defender 110...

I have fitted a Rover V8 4.0 out of a Rover p38 1996 into my 110. went straight up to the gearbox that it had in it (LT77 (I believe)) 4 speed which is a little low geared but fine to drive

It was purchased by the Crown and was not registered in this county
It was prob on military plates. it says on the log book that it was declared new in 1994. the serial number relates to the correct age of it.
Believe it or not its only got 8000 miles on the clock and the clock does work...

My 110 has the wrong number plate for its age.
Its got a M Reg Plate when its a 1983 - 1984 i know why..
Its because it was bought on the 16 March 1984 and went to Hong Kong did 10 years service and came back in 1994. and was then registered here, hence the M Reg plate. (instead of the...

I have got it sorted now.
Engine going in on Monday, with quite a bit of modification required.
Just waiting for the new ECU to come from MegaSquirt.
Then a good set up and were away.....

Planning to fit a Rover 4.0 V8 out of a P38, into a 110 Defender
I can make the mechanical side of things work but the challenge ahead will be the electronics.
I have the ECU & Mass Air Flow Sensor etc.
has anyone attempted this before?
If you have, have you got any clues?
