Hello Digby. If you're talking about the thin plastic membrane no I didn't. When you put the new cable in it has to be very tight. It took 2 of us to put the tension on. There is a clip on you tube but he makes it look easy!! When you fit the mechanism back in, test it before you put the casing...

Hello Folks,
Just driving down the motorway and heard a bang. I noticed the passengers left hand rear window dropped all the way down!

After looking at you've said it looks like a 90. Over 2 years with an extra £1400 down it works out to be about £180 a month so cheap fun for 2 years!
Just the colour to decide on now

Just bought this knowing it was knackered but only cost £40. The motor is burnt out and need some parts for it. Do you know what model it is as most serial numbers have worn away. All I can see on the motor is D 288 and F805 but can't make out any other digits

That's the sort of wheel I would like. I'll have a good look around tomorrow. They might sell them at a land rover specialist by me?

Sounds like a better idea and cheaper. Power steering would be great but something less to go wrong, plus my son is built like a brick s%*t house. Thanks
