Today I learnt if you take a door card off a L322, make sure the mirrors are out. Confused the hell out of me when the mirrors were in opposite states to each other, one folded, the other out. Press the fold button and they swap over 😂

Cut one of the clips off and put a cable tie round it..... 😂

New rear propshaft fitted. All the needle bearings in the uj had disintegrated and fell out, some interesting noises driving along there. Need to find a replacement spider assembly now to keep it as a spare shaft.

Don't forget the AC drain tubes. They're easy to get at behind the side dash panel by your feet.

Glad you figured out the problem. May be worth opening and trying another clean with IPA and a toothbrush if you can get at the actual contacts, worked for me on another car in the past.

Just seen the other posts regarding this. The suspension and abs work together for dynamics. If you brake hard for example, the suspension puts a bit more air to the front bags to reduce dive etc. What error codes in the whole car do you have...

If its a L322 and you lost battery, it does weird things sometimes until you turn the steering wheel lock to lock to calibrate the steering sensor. I found this out the hard way when I lost everything to do with both ABS and suspension, including...

Wonder if there may be an issue with the yellow/black wire there, or the spring itself as they do break after a bit of time (although generally more reliable in "newer" cars). Not sure if it'll be simple voltage or data but if cruise is...

Do all the other buttons work for the stereo and the horn? Looks like (looking at wiring diagrams) fuse 9 for 12v, ground, i-bus and a connection to the instrument cluster. May be the clockwork spring? No relays involved, just a load of...

If its cranking over, there's only a couple of things it can be. It's briefly firing on cold start being sprayed it, means no fuel. Immobiliser has been bypassed and it's cranking so not likely ews at this point. This pretty much leaves fuel...

I can't find any information on how exactly the system works when the car is locked and unlocked here. All I know is the flaps aren't shutting when the car is locked. Are they supposed to be motored shut when commanded by the AC panel, or are...

Honestly at the moment I have no idea how this is going to be fixed. Plugged the gap tool in and I can't see an option for closing recirc on key out or unlocking. The fact it motors fine in normal operation suggests something more obscure is...

OK, think I know what's happening. It had been sat best part of an hour now. When locked the ram or recirc doors don't seem to be closing, whichever one is supposed to. So when I unlock, it tries to open the already open doors. This is what's...

There appear to be 2 sets of recirc flaps in there. The inner ones don't seem to be sitting evenly. Any ideas what they're both actually for?

Trying this right now. Just waiting for the ecu to go to sleep. Annoyingly it didn't make the noise (that I noticed) when I just opened it up 🤬

Hi guys, 2006 Vogue with a strange noise. When I unlock the car, I get a clicking from behind the dash for about 3 seconds which then stops. Sounds loudest if I get my head by the vents under the stereo. If I start the car and operate the...

I arrived back in the UK today so will start to get the RR sorted and up for sale or at least one of them. Flew from Brisbane to Bankock with Singapore Airlines and then flew up to Chang Ria the next day with Air Asia and spent a couple of day...

Got the 3d printer working again to make an adapter plate to fit a bee sting antenna so I have decent FM/DAB/GPS reception. The factory shark fin was cracked and no longer worked. God it leaves behind a big hole, bigger than aftermarket fixing nuts.

Ive seen this but it's a million dollars from America and the L322 side anchor points would need some serious beefing up somehow. I also suspect this is too tall to fit the anchor points.

Hi Was enjoying a lovely evening not long ago sat on the tailgate of my 2006 L322, eating fish n chips and watching the tide come in. Then i had a thought "backrest would be perfect about now" Has anyone seen any anywhere or is it a case of...

surely that would not work because the join is well before the centre box.

And the exhaust pipes? If they're separate all the way through may be worth getting a test reading from both pipes to back up the lambda sensor readings?
