I can weld I fabricate safety cages for race cars but I've never done anything with body repair

Hi I'm new to the sight and don't know much about landrovers yet. I'm thinking about buying one as a bit of a project. I have been told the rear crossmember will need replacing is this a big job and roughly how much would it cost? Thanks for reading Nicky
