Took all day but got the pulley of by making another puller( i'm in Norfolk btw ).

Have started the job but have got stuck, have removed the water pump and got round to removing the crankshaft pulley/damper, the bolt came out easily enough but the pulley wont move. Tried a 3 point puller which didn't work so made a puller from a 5 ton hydraulic jack which has failed to move it...

Got a timing belt kit as i don't know when the belt was last changed so thought this would be a good idea.

Nope, but have worked on cars and other things quite a lot before, and have read every thing that i can find about the job.

Ok, thanks for your replies, i have made an intro now. have searched but could not find an answer to my question. So where the pipes would connect to the pump for the turbo would these connection remain unconnected or do they need blanking off or some other modification.

My pump is leaking on my 2.5 NA, i have a spare pump that has been reconditioned that came of a 2.5 turbo, so can this be fitted to my 2.5NA?
