Still no joy with my freelander,iam going to sell it for spairs,or if eny one wants one let me know.I have asked so many people and they say they have never heard of this its got everyone beat,it will be something simple and someone will get a very good jeep cheers again to every one that emaild me

Thanks for all the help,but still wont go.I think iam going to scrap it as no one seams to be able to fix it plus its cost me so much so far,its been at 5 garages now and iam fed up with it all,thanks to everybody that replyed to my post

thanks for the advice,work carried out on the freelander new fuel pump in desiel tank new fuel pump under the wing crankshaft sensor replaced throttle pedal and sensor replaced ECU checked came back all clear hope this makes things clearer, hope it makes sense don't have much idea about...

by the way it is a 51 plate 2.0l deisel, starts and idles away fine,then whe rev it up i can't get it over 1000 revs it just cuts out, then i can start it again no problems, have had various new parts with no luck.

Can enyone help me,my freelander would not start about 3 weeks ago,so up to my garage,two new fule pumps 3 new sensers,now it starts but when you rev it up it cuts out,they have tryed every thing but cant get it to go,its cost me 600 pound so far i dont no what to do,help please ,its the deisel...
