    H180 is a very mild cam and not really worth the effort better off with a real steel Cyclone cam or the hurricane mentioned above

    the hurricane is a "wilder" cam - its supposed power band extends beyond that of the cyclone (6000rpm) with standard heads you are not going to be making power at that rpm. the cyclone's power band is only to 5500rpm making it the better choice IMHO

    I was going to say go for the Viper Cyclone Camshaft from real steel for the 3.9 which give a bit more low-mid range torque than the hurricane. are you using standard heads?

    its a very very mild cam - not really worth it for the work in changing the cam IMHO what engine do you have?

    kent H180 has 0.09in lift more than you really should run with standard springs. piper 270 should get different springs. the H180 is pretty mild though, not really a huge change from standard cam. is yours a carb or EFI and what comp ratio as that will make a difference to the cam choice?

    waste of money - won't do anything better than a decent set of standard HT leads.

    you can either get a basic system that you wire into the loom or you can replace the lucus ecu with a plug and play unit. You can use it either fuel only or fuel and spark. It can make a difference to a standard engine but its a pretty extreme way to do it

    LS1 is not as light as a RV8 and its not a simple job to fit. having a lot of power in a defender is not the best idea in the world though lol

    pretty much all of the cams we are discussing are good for the engine in a RR. they will give a wider power band compared to a standard engine.
