Maybe the carb is too worn to keep its adjustment my 2A was doing the same thing with the choke not working at all which suggests it`s always runnung to rich.I gave in trying to keep adjusting the carb and splashed out on a new Webber about £80 No more probs now choke works fine and it goes much...
