Errr i dont think so it is a sealed battery numpty, i only posted on here to get some positive feedback or ideas but it seems you are all on another planet and incapable of posting a serious or helpful post...

well you numptees i sealed all the holes in the battery box and around the seams and i sealed it that well that it held the water in there that had come through the silly black sliding plates on the top, anyway got a better idea now i was just wondering if anyone had a good idea!!!nooo...

ok was offreoading at tong last sunday was in a bit of water and went up a hill ended up with loads of mud and water all behind seats and in battery box has anyone moved batteries to another location or done a mod to seal the batt box

Hi everyone name is Ian i am located in Hull East Yorkshire i am running a 1996 LR Defender 90 at the moment, have had discos before but this is my first Defender.

you want Fedima which are Simex copies they are excellent and at £100 a corner a little cheaper than BFG but they dont clog at all, Greenway Machos are just cheap and clog easy they would be ok for Gren lane runs but if your in proper mud they are rubbish, remember you get what you pay for...

Dave is very helpful, i am fitting the Rough Country Challenge kit with old man emu springs and 2 inch lift kit, terrafirma springs are good as well.
