Thanks for all the responses, took the plug off and cleaned it out which seemed to work for about 30 minutes but the problem came back so took it to a garage and had them replace it. Picking it up tomorrow. However, not quite sure how to respond to the last two (very bizarre) posts from 'Ratty'...
