If a wire wore through and contacted the body it would draw a lot of amps. Line fused? Fuse rating too high for the cable? Faulty fuse? Intermittent contact with bodywork?

Speaking from the west side of the Atlantic ... I have imported from South Africa to the USA but never from the UK. I can only speak to the law on our side, which varies greatly from state to state. As far as our federal government goes it must...

In my 54 years of experience nothing is as hard as people make out. Asa mechanic told me when I was 18, it's just nuts and bolts.

Make sure the sender matches the clock or you'll have a bad time. Better to buy a new one so you're 100% sure its the right one, and that it's not faulty. They're pennies.

I've heard mixed reviews about that company but I was still thinking of buying one of their "New design" boxes. Think I'll give them a pass, more due to terrible customer service than anything. Thanks for your review.

I purchased a steering box on 5th December for my RHD Land Rover 110 (1984). While the initial setup of attaching the steering box to the chassis was straightforward, issues arose when connecting the lower universal joint. Specifically: Fitment...

Buy some vinyl fabric, or pleather, some spray adhesive and redo it it all. That's my plan in spring/summer anyway.

I had a similar problem a couple of years ago, so fitted a facet pump on the chassis to do the heavy lifting to the diesel pump. Never had a problem since. A new pump was about 600 at the time. There's a few models on Tweeks site, but this is the...

Most are to be fair. Mines an early 90, with bits bolted on from Defender, Freelander, Discovery, Isuzu, Ford and a BMW horn 👀

Series 3 is 48 spline. Pretty sure yours should be 36 spline unless someone swapped the column out.

Assuming I understood you correctly after half a bottle of wine... Continuity just means at least one strand of the wire is intact and working, or that it's not so degraded that it can't pass the test, but could still be in **** state and not...

Phill replied to the thread DIY interior headlining.
It's an impossible question to answer. Is it doable with wood? For me? no because I'm terrible at wood working. Is it possible for a carpenter with 30yrs experience. Probably a breeze. How good are you at woodworking. There's your answer.

I recovered the original headlining, if doing it again I would copy what people have done on here and stuck foam direct to the roof and then covered that with material. Good glue is the secret ingredient.

You'll have to take it apart but it's likely the balljoint is worn and needs replacing rather than wear on the crossrod end. The rubber boot looks split anyway?

This image is better. 305/70 R16 Toyo Open Country. Toyo recommend an 8", 9" or 10" wheel Deep dish, so probably Gojo Deep Dish. Found here at Tyres Direct. If you speak to Greg Oliver at that company and send him the picture he'll advise if you...
