Actully it did help in a round about way, cause your suggestion made me stip out hte console etc and found all was well. So decided to chain lube the gear stick pivot and now all is back to normal.. THANKYOU...Phil

hi, if it's not a spring, have a check at the front shocks, if ok, renew the bushes in the front anti roll bar clamps. They are only a few £s from the LR dealer.There was such a minute amount of movement in the bushes that by pushing and swinging on the roll bar the noise was not audible...
