Exactly the same happened to mine. All was fine whilst running with headlights and blower on but when i switched off the engine the battery light stayed on. I believe something had fused in the alternater. But please rule out this first by testing them.

Hi there just had this go on my ninety and it needed a new alternater which cured the problem. Could also be the starter so check them both

Hi there all i have alittle problem here. I am a little bit mechanically minded on basics but am having trouble with my wipers on my 88 ninety. When i switch them off they stop where they are and do not self park. Any ideas. Many thanks P.
