Hi All I hope you can help. I have a Carburettor 32/34 DMTL Weber - 2.5 litre 4 cylinder petrol engine defender. When I drive it now it has a strong smell of petrol. I can see a weep/leak of petrol about 1/2 way up the carb, or may be even higher. Its enough to worry about the hot inlet...

90 TD5 Starts Well, when I drive off it splutters until over 2000 revs then picks up. It only does this when cold. No obvious fuel leaks, glow plug light goes out after 5 seconds. Any ideas, they would be much appreciated ? Just don't know where to start with this one Regards Peter

Dear all Landrover 90 TD5, 97,000Miles I am building up change my glowplugs, I have been putting it off ! Which connector removal pliers should I buy, straight or bent ones? Experienced glow pluggers, your advise would be much appreciated. Regards Pete90

Thanks for this site and you all Glowplugs TD5 Landrover 90 97,000 miles Starting is OK Drive away when cold I suffer missfires, lumpy power, like a flatspot in a carb. Do you guys think this is a glowplug problem? Regards Peter
