throttle body sticking. can i fix that easily? what would a garage charge do you think ie time for job?

Other places ive read mention the throttle switch - is this likley. i cant do this myself but need to be armed with info so im not a complete muppet at the garage.

Sorry guys , it is a 1.8 freelander petrol (2000). have not turned it off when it ocurred , will do so next time and see if it runs on.
