Blows when I turn the ignition on, prior to turning over, not in reverse gear

Fuse 14, 10amp, reversing light and glow plugs according to the manual. Blows immediately. No obvious fault with reversing light. Is the fuse protecting the glow plugs, or just a dash light? No issues with starting so assume slow plugs work ok

Love my Landy, 3rd I've had. Is a quiet TD5 engine a possibility, and if so what work would be needed?

Been getting misfire, occasional, and fuel pump stopping. Replaced the injector loom with a Pace sealed unit, and cleaned the plug under the rocker, removed and cleaned the ECU and red plug. The blue connector pictured is faulty/poor connection as fuel pump not running but does when connector...
