    Drivers Seat Slide adjusters

Here are the pictures. So we want to get the top rail off the bottom rail. There is a roll pin at either end which we have driven out but the two parts still seem to come to some internal stop. We want to clean them up, put in new balls (or whatever) and re-grease to give that as new feeling!

    Drivers Seat Slide adjusters

Thanks Oxides, but ours are 2 part with a static base and a sliding top part with what i guess is a pair of rollers of balls in there somewhere. Yes the bottom part bolts to the seat box but the cushion just sits in the top frame and you press a lever to release a dog (on one slide only) and the...

Does anyone have any experience as to how to dismantle the seat slides so we can grit blast them, re-paint and grease up on a series 3 109"?

Sawn up and chucked the old chassis now so cannot do a check measurement but if anyone out there knows...

Rebuilding a 3/4 ton 4x4 Ex Army 109" that has 1 ton suspension and have fitted new front and rear springs. We have shackles and higher ride height so 1 ton replacements for the shocks and springs were purchased from DLR. With the new springs fitted and the engine in the bay there is still a gap...

Series 3, 109" Ex army Truck Rear Springs

Thanks. Alistair from Richards Chassis has just dropped off our new chassis and he reckons just use normal 109" rear springs. They might give a bit softer rid but will do the job and we are not going to be towing a gun! Will they fit though?

Series 3, 109" Ex army Truck Rear Springs

Help. Have the 1 ton set up on our 2.25 Petrol Ex-army 109" truck and want to replace the rear springs so that it is still as original as possible. Have new leafs for the front but still looking for the back. These are the springs with the brackets that gives about another 2" ride height. Can i...
