Hi Thanks for the help, I think the handbrake light is on now, I will have to check in the morning as the car is at work. Can i back probe the can wires to test the signal, then unplug the ABS as that is what I think is the problem . would the signal correct itself?. Paul

Just pluged the obd break out box, Live on 16 4 and 5 ground lights up, but the can lines do not light up, I think they are dead. Paul

Hi I want to do some tests on the can lines as I have no communication with the abs.. 1St of all does anyone have the OBD pin out drawing, I want to make sure the can lines are pin 6 and 14 and has anyone any experience with can line testing please Paul

First thing I think I need to do is sort out the fuse board, I know from the non start originally, there is a problem with it, according to the wiring diagram that I have F11 and F8 fuses should be live at all times and they are only live when the ignition is on, the drawing is the top line...

I am assuming the abs control module is all part of the abs unit, if this is the case can I just get a second hand one and change it to see if this is the problem, or are they coded?.

Yes I understand I need to get the codes read, But if I have no comunication with the abs, how am I going to do it

Today I have tested fuses F2 F7 F35 F11 F8 all live with the ignition on nothing with the ignition off, I think F11 and F8 should be live at all times, also I forgot to mention the Speedo does not work. I am going to try to scope the wheel sensors tomorrow, I will try to do them...

I have ohs tested the wheel sensors, I will put a scope on them today to see if I am getting a good signal, I did put the meter on ac volts and spin the wheel and the voltage did rise, So I thought the semnsors where fine. How can I test the brake switch, And also why do I have no comunication...

The battery was low, I had to put the booster on to get it to crank properly. But it starts fine with the link, juas a small lenth of wire from the fused link to the teriminal 30 and the push the relay back in. and all works fine. Battery now charged and everthing is fine.
