Hmm I went and got the stop end today just didn't have enough time to do it and also just wanted to know what others thought and if it worked, I'm not gonna ditch the valve just block it of, do I need any new gaskets or anything before I start?

Solved
After removing the rear tailgate glass it appeared that the runner on the drivers side was actually catching the rear door itself, so I removed the spare wheel and it looks like the previous owner had reversed into something pushing the door in just enough to stop the window from...

Will be taking a look soon, did find a video on youtube showing how the cables go, I did have a similar fault on the drivers door with the cables so know they are a bit of a pain.

Will give that a try before I take it apart could save some time with a bit of luck.... Actually can do it when I unlock it as the window just open anyway.

I did see that thread and have moved the wires out of the way as they were exactly the same as the pictures in that post, just stops still in the same place.

Yes it's the same when the battery is disconnected to, but it has always only ever gone down that far since I had the car, I thought that was normal but it seems not. would be a massive coincidence going wrong at the same time the battery is changed, I'm wondering if it was faulty before and now...

No that's as far as it will go on the switch, and when I unlock it and it go's down, the runners seem to go about another 2-3 inches below the window when its down.

I have attached an image of how far my window go's down, seems it should go more but I'm not sure.

Window is up atm only because I used the key in the lock, as soon as I unlock it go's straight down, and only go's up once locked and using the key in the boot. I'm gonna go look at the fuses and relays while I still have a little light.

Hmmm seems so, I'm gonna take it all apart tomorrow and see what I can find, Just not sure I want to take it all out clean it up and put it back to still have the same issue! Are there any fuses or relays that are worth checking or is it unlikely?

It is a new battery and I have checked the terminals are tight, just wonder if this was a problem before and now it needs calibrating it has raised its ugly head! Any idea on how to get my window to drop level? Is it worth taking out the motor? I cant see anything obstructing the window but at...
