I'm not sure if it's something that's been getting worse or not. My Landlord gave me the car as he is getting a new car and doesn't want to spend money on it getting it fixed. He was going to scrap it but thought I might be able to get it running again as it's too good to scrap.

I'm not sure when the timing belt was last changed but it's had a head gasket not long ago. It's a W reg. Yes it does have a dizzy cap and rotor arm.

Hi all, My Freelander will turn over fine but won't start. The door locks try to lock/unlock when you turn the key to stage 2 then when you turn the key to start it it will turn over fine but won't catch. It won't even try to catch. Can anyone help me please. Cheers, Aaron.
