.......That's makes sense to me, but when I looked up the part number (591988) in the parts catalogue it is described as "Backing Plate Sealing Gasket" - Hence the question?
-
Thanks for the feedback..... yup know the part number from the parts manual, and even have the gasket as it was left on the cross member, but just wanted to check how important it was to have it in place....on the one hand I cannot see that there are any fluids that would need to be sealed in at...

Probably a very simple question....which will probably result in a very simple answer????
After getting Gerty back from the garage found a small gasket laid on top of the crossmember adjacent to the clutch slave cylinder, so guessing that when they took it apart it got put somewhere convenient...

....Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to justify the service that you appear to have had...just giving my own experience of them and saying that it's disappointing to see that their customer service appears to have slipped from what was previously very good service when I have used them in the...

Agree with this..... I have a detailed spreadsheet of every nut and bolt that I've purchased for Gerty, along with every single receipt - As Disco1BFG says a real pain in the arse, but worth it if you want to get a realistic agreed valuation. Is anybody else going to pay the agreed valuation if...

It's a real shame to see all the negative feedback on here about Ashtree.... I first came across them about 7/8 years ago when I purchased a bulkhead from them and have used them for lots of bits since, including replacement tub cappings and a bespoke galvanising of my Rad panel.... always found...

Mine's a very similar spec to yours....before I had her resprayed the agreed valuation that I had with Lancaster and then Adrian Flux were both 12K... both required photos and evidence of work done, but both very reasonable (<£100 per year on a limited mileage cover)

I know that the Marine Blue on mine isn't quite the same as your blue...but this will give you an idea what the Sand coloured canvas looks like
-
Igot mine from All Wheel Trim about five years ago and really pleased with it....as with any canvas hood you need to get in tied in place and let it get wet and dry naturally a few times for it to "Shrink to fit" (need to keep tied at sides and rear so that it doesn't end up short - ignore the...

Maybe put the sticker on, cut the lettering out with a scalpel, spray and then remove the remainder of the sticker that you used as a mask??? - lots of patience and a steady hand required though - Think I'd just put the sticker on?

...is this what you're after?

There are seat belt brackets which fit into the side of the truck cab to connect the seat belts to - if the seat belt bar that you're talking about is the same as the one I have on my soft top (can just about see it in the attached photo), then it won't fit with a truck cab I'm afraid - part...
