In my discovery 3 TDV6 owners manual is suggest that you run the engine at above 3000 rpm for about 20 min to burn out the acumulated carbon but dont park over dry grass

After spending some time thinking about designing a tool to hold the fan to undo it in the end i went and got a piece of steel13mm x 3mm x260mm long and it did the job one hit and the fan was off now all i got to do is wait for new pulley or second hnd one as a new one is ove 400 qiud

I have a 1999 P38 2.5 BMW diesel and have fueling problems . I also have a NANOCOM but cannot see anywhere to check the MAF.
I have faults logged that cannot be cleared namely
GLOW PLUGS FAULT
TYPE INVALID FAULT LOGGED CURRENT INTERMITTENT
RPM= 28
WATER TEMP=131
OCCURANCE = 14
