reds blowing up seems to get covered up quite well. the plasma went with such a ping on the steps because it was dead pulling, he'd lost drive for various reasons that i ended up having to fix through the night (was pit crewing for him). was the last stage of saturday if i remember right.

take a closer picture of how youve bolted the top of the rear shocks onto the chassis mount, it looks to me like youve used the wrong washer

just adjust the lock stops on the hubs. wheel spacers wont help

my 200tdi 90 with 1.4 transfer box, 235/85 tyres will sit at 70. it sits at 70 all the 130 mile journey along the motorway from home to uni. i will be fitting a 1.2 transfer box to drop the revs a bit though

i know it was a while ago but is the lt77 still available? if so whats included? bell housing, selector housing?

the panhard bushes will be the same. wide and narrow radius arm axles are slightly different as the distance between the brackets are narrower or wider. although these brackets can be bent slightly to make either fit.

when i changed mine i had a socket that fitted just about well enough to undo it. to be honest mine really wasnt that tight, but the joint was very worn. you'll definitely be able to get a spanner on the nut, even if its just an adjustable one

R.E. the A frame mount on the rear axle. it is the same as a ball joint for the steering, its on a taper. you wont knock the stuck bit out in the direction you are trying to as the part you are hitting is the larger end of the taper. you have to knock it out the other way, so from where the nut...

i'll get some channel ordered up and give it a go when i rebuild it all, hopefully this easter, definitely before summer. i think i'll take the windows out though, because i want to repaint the hardtop sides, and replace all the other roof window seals as they have gone hard and leak like crazy...

thanks that helps a lot. i assume you did it with the windows still fitted and didnt take them out and dismantle? how many of the lengths of channel did you need?

are the runners in the link the exact ones you used? do you have any pictures or tips for replacing them, the rear windows on my 90 rattle like crazy, its like being in a green house with the wind blowing.
