Ok so I replaced the alternator on my 1984 90 200tdi as the battery wasn't charging (new battery) and still not charging so traced all the wires using a wiring diagram I have 3 wires big brown wire, white wire and a yellow wire. I don't know wether this will apply to the uk or not but just browsing the net and came across the new design for the land rover defender and I have to say it looks atrocious. I know I'm only 18 and I'm fairly new to this sort of thing but I think most people can agree the new defender is hidious!

The 90 is a 1984, its matt black, raised, modular wheels an mud tyres all new, dislocation cones, 2.5 turbo Diesel engine front winch bumper new front ball joints an prop shaft and complete steering rebuild. Unfortunatly I have no history for it buh what I can tell it was never looked after.
