Hi I'm new to the forum but have been viewing posts for a while. My 52 L322 was blowing black smoke and only doing 18 mpg. I followed the instructions on here and hey presto the smoke has gone. The filter was covered in black oil. I gave the whole thing a clean and fitted the modified filter...
