Put my truck up on stands put her in second let off clutch on idle and found some nice crunching sounds on the offside front wheel were my suspect noise is coming from. Drained oil out of diff to check for any chunks of metal or filings and the was nothing:clap2: so my guess is bearings.

My defender 90 pickup is a 1994 300tdi lifted 3inches with 33-1250-r15 millage 66000. it didn't vibrate when I brought the landy in April. Haven't tried taking rear prop off because noise when away when front shaft off. It vibrates if I drive to 35 and let off throttle and in 3rd about same...

Yea I'm not Convinced that its mechanical, I can here it but can't feel anything. Its when I let off the throttle at a certain speed or crawling in a low gear.

No idea what that is lol. Is it hard to change?

Hi taken front prop off and went for a drive and no vibrations :) so going to change ujs over the weekend. Cheers for all the help guys.

Hi just tried pumping the joints full of grease and the noise is still there. Will take off front prop and go for a drive tomorrow night.
