    Gear selector rods

    Hi, This part on my Freelander looks like it is causing the 'wobbly gearstick' and I want to take it out and repair it as suggested by Duncan. I am not sure how it is fixed in place., can it be done without removing engine/gearbox ?? Tips welcomed. ken
