    I bought a 1.8 and i couldn't be happier.

More than one year on. Both freelander and transit connect were six years old when I bought each. They had similar milage. The fl cost twice as much to buy and tax. Stuff kept going broke on the fl. The transit has needed nothing. It makes and saves me money. The freelander has sort of made...

I never need to go too far off road. I can fit 8x4 in the back of my mini transit . Then I can do more work and make enough money to money, to buy a proper Land Rover . Over here we need off-road ers to negotiate our ****e road surfaces. They hardly ever salt the roads.

I finally parked up my 98 L series, at least for the last time this year. I might fix it up next year or just get rid. I owned it for nearly nine years. This week I bought a 08 ford transit connect 1.8 tdci . Much better than my lr pile of crap.

rear brakes stuck . I need advice before sunset please

Yes I think i made the sensible decision. For a good two hours today, there were police and ambulance sirens blaring up and down the road we overlook. Turned out a six year old child was critically injured a good half hour drive away. It was a hit and run. I wouldn't have run but I might have...

Finished work at 5.30 and cycled home into a headwind . Got home at 6.30 I have just replaced the knackered O/S shoes. If its ok...

Yes,but I am the only one there with a skill saw. We will have fun in the sun making up shuttering with a hand saw. I'm in there for an agency. It is meant to be for a week or two,but the foreman has implied he would keep me on for much longer.

Ja reckon its not going to stop? I live out in the middle of nowhere and less than 10 miles from the site. I'm going to do it anyway.

rear brakes stuck . I need advice before sunset please

Yes. I have to. I started a new job last week and need to be there at 7.30 in the morning. I could cycle there but I need my tools. I will order new shoes from the local motor factor and fit them after work. I'll drive slowly and extra careful. I have no choice.

i got it off with some perseverance and lots of hammer blows . The lining had come off one of the shoes. I'll have to chance driving to work with it in the morning.

I cant get the rear drum off and need to fix this thing before dark. I shall persevere and hopefully someone might have a proper solution when i check back. I have hit it with lump hammer, presently looking for rubber mallet. I might loosen the cables at the handbrake lever. Thanx in advance.
