Four LWB rims, rough but saveable. Three rough tyres and one good M/T. £25 the lot. Near Cambridge.

My 200Di S3 did exactly the same . . . Two problems - (a) top of fuel pipe stack inside tank corroded right at the top and full of holes, pulling loads air through and little fuel, (b) fuel filter bunged solid with waxy gunge from whatever the previous owner had stuck in the tank.

The fuelling should not need to be touched. The Boost Compensator should handle the turbocharging side of things. No turbo - no boost.

Could be bad connections on the instrument pack. My Rev Counter wobbled alarmingly until I cleaned the contacts . . .

I did it on both a 200TDi 90 using a Wilco Alarm and Central Locking controller, and on a 300TDi 110SW using the original electronics and an add-on controller. Actuators were a kit bought from EBAY. Worse bit was making a piano wire thingy to work the back door. Worked a treat!

I think it's a good idea to change the water pump as well while you have the car in bits. Adds £30 to the cost but it's well worth it for peace of mind.

I have an LT77S (Higher 5th gear, off 200TDi Defender). Done about 60K, removed for an auto conversion. New mainshaft fitted. I'm looking for £150.

How much for the seven seat kit and the front bumper end caps? I'm near Cambridge so sollection no problem.

Late 300TDi Auto's have Bosch EDC to give a bit more power (!). They do have an ECU of sorts, which I hope to tweak. I'll let you know how I get on.
