Grew up in Namib Desert Namibia where the Land-Rover bugs got me, then in the military for 10 years where the bigger bugs got me, then farming in South Africa own 3 Defenders and now in NZ. Did try to get away without a Landy because they are so scares and expensive here, did not last long and got a run down Pickup, restore it and now looking for an old series 1 to do up just to have one where it all started 50 years ago. that's my storie.
