L322 Building a L322 for long road trips, yes or no?

Thanks for the link, I see you made your own setup. Would you say its better this way or would it be a good idea to take the "plug and play" system from... https://www.luxurylandroverupgrades.com/product-page/range-rover-l322-secondary-battery-kit I don't know if it's possible to add a solar...

L322 Building a L322 for long road trips, yes or no?

Thank you for your explanation in the previous post. I do agree wether or not you can fully properly use a fault reader it seems. to be a good idea to take one on the road mostly to fix possible suspension hiccups. I read that the IID has a simple function for it that only takes 5 mins. :)

L322 Building a L322 for long road trips, yes or no?

Thanks for the tip! I will send a PM today. I will renew all the bags and compressor before starting the roadtrip indeed since I have no idea how long mine are under it. + tires and battery + build in a secondary battery anyway.

L322 Building a L322 for long road trips, yes or no?

Awesome, this is really good to know to best take a diagnostic tool with me. I've read some good things about the IIDTool on here, do you know if this will be enough? International breakdown I will do for sure, no matter what car you are driving. Haha, travelling around with a spare car behind...

L322 Building a L322 for long road trips, yes or no?

I do agree with the classic being a (technical) superior choice (most you find here are quite rotten), unfortunately due to the fact it being a classic I won't be allowed into the big cities here in Belgium which work wise puts me in a bad position if I need to transport a clients car. Ah well...

L322 Building a L322 for long road trips, yes or no?

Thanks, this is indeed maybe a good mindset which I will adapt. And ofcourse taking preparations to repair possible breakdowns but I mainly want to avoid a serious breakdown on the transmission or engine. Hence replacing the common issues, but still of anyone has a suggestion for what else could...

L322 Building a L322 for long road trips, yes or no?

Haha thanks, I'm aware it's a difficult question but if its mainly maintenance after everything is mostly fixed then its fine. But I do hope hearing from some people with the same car that have travelled a few thousand miles and if they did anything to avoid breaking down. It will still be a...

L322 Building a L322 for long road trips, yes or no?

Hey everyone, serious question which I'm looking for more than a yes or no answer. I have a L322 with the V8 gasoline BMW engine running on LPG and planning to use this car a lot to travel thru Europe and it will see some off road action and will also be used to tow car transport trailers. I've...

New member who bought a cash draining L322

Thank you, I've been looking for one but the one I found on here seems to be a not working link. Been thinking on getting pro on the Range Rover owners club since they offer technical data. I think the 2008 has a jag engine right? Mine is the one with the BMW engine, which I have read very mixed...

New member who bought a cash draining L322

Hey everyone, after countless hours on this forum I decided to become a member an interact a little with you all. Love(most of the time) my "new" L322 which I bought mostly for my job and some travel plans in not so far future around Scotland and Norway. Still have some reliability stuff to...
