I'm just planning on getting some conveyor belting myself, can get it super thick if you want, the ribbed stuff looks pretty good. Extra squares of it stuck to the other side of panels are all you need for sound deadening. No point in plastering the expensive stuff like people do it's useless...

Hi Flatfour - Paddocks say it's the same one for Defender and Discovery 2 TD5. Only digits I can see on it anywhere are 1201, no idea whether that means anything though!

Hi Flatfour - it was off a 1998 so sometime between then and when I got it about 3 years ago. I'm not 100% sure if it's the same fit as a Disco as it was off a Defender - I expect it is but can't guarantee it! It was fine when I took it out so I don't see why it wouldn't be fine now.

Swapped them out today (new one from Craddocks, actually branded their own - didn't know they did that. Presumably Britpart underneath). Old one (Lucas branded, twice as big, weighed a ton) presumably original. Had a bracket to hold up the front end as well, not surprising at that weight...
