Hello, well, the frame on then rear door is on its way out and the two front doors are rusting badly at the base. Looking on line at the bay of E's there seems to be two distinct paths for the rear doors.... either galvanised super duper ones at just under 400 quid or budget at 150 - 180 but...

go to wiring on switch and see if power in, if thats ok try bypassing switch to put power to motor (shows if switch knackered) its just a process of elimination..... is park switch ok? etc

fixed horn, sorted wipers park switch, fitted the new column switches I had bought and a steering wheel...(feels strange being not worn to 2/3rds thickness and now bonded to the inner bit) new track roads and through its MOT

when i was in the Falklands in 87 the army were selling off lands for silly money and the islanders were buying them to change to diesel engines from bits of army kit they also bought. it was cheaper for the army to auction kit off than bring it back, we jettisoned loads into the falkland sound

Having a problem which i am told is a sticking solenoid on the immobilser .... how simple is it to remove the immobiliser? R plate 300tdi or how much to replace?
