I have an early V8 110. I'm going to be disturbing the braking system when I replace my bulkhead in the next few weeks. I was considering fitting later model vented discs and calipers - although i'm not sure if it's a simple job on the earliest 110s? Has anyone fitted the later vented discs...

I have an early 110 V8. I am about to commence a bulkhead swap -. I know my in-situ inner Wings are not in great nick. Can I replace with newer plastic type? I assume they are better that the steel type?

My 110 with low compression V8 on a longish euro trip (2700 miles) managed a best of 21mpg and an average of 16.2mpg. The trip included fast and slow driving, off roading, plenty of alpine passses, and quite a few tunnels.. Petrol only.
