Hi, In the end decided on the pic attached.. Couldn't attached it with enough confidence so took a pole and made the awning. Had straps coming down the oposite side of the vehicle and attached the 3 straps to underside or side steps.

Bit more homework shows a few othe options: cheap at £4.50 OR but £38!!! Shows them sucking onto paintwork in another picture.
