    I don't understand I thought with the dif lock engaged all wheels lock and turn in sync I took it to A1 clutches to see if they could help. they agreed the dif lock wasn't working but could not be of further assistance. Sensibly I should have hardcored the track. instead I bought the defender...

    diesel lodge 69 eloquently put marmaduke my dif lock doesn't work. I found this out when I got stuck in a ditch boxing day 2017. I was driving up a woodland track 2nd gear ticking over and you might laugh but gravity just pulled it in. its was an expensive lesson

    Its like this, when you buy private you take your chances. But when you buy apparently from a reputable dealer you expect goods to be of a merchantable quality. Some companys put profit before a good name.
