Well i thought that but went to sell my car and the sales man said you need a new clutch I thought well had it 2 years and i think its always been like it

Please help I have a 04 discovery landmark can you adjust the clutch on them? If so is it a hard job? Or if not what price do you think it will cost to replace? Thanks guys neal
