Heater Valve Problem on a V8 Conversion

Hi all, I would assume that this have been covered before but apart from just running the heater on full all the time, how do you/what do you fit to get control of the heater on a Series III after a V8 conversion has taken place? R, Ian.

    BFG 265 75 R16 on Standard 5.5 Defender Rims????

I have seen series with 265 on them but didnt take too much notice of the size (width) of the rim. Really will 5.5 tubeless rims fit 265 75 R16s or do i need to think of getting some 6.5 rims?

    BFG 265 75 R16 on Standard 5.5 Defender Rims????

I think it is to do with the width between the rims (being 5.5"). I've spotted a few threads that state the max size tyre to go for is 235 85 R16 for this size rim but I want to be sure before moving forward and trying to fit them or sell the rims. Cheers for the advice
