Can i first ask what the rear diff symptoms were to make a rebuild necessary? the sound you describe i would have said ujs, Have you replaced all 4, front & rear props and packed them with grease?

Update folks, took my (replacement) QH stat out and started engine with stat out, and housing left off, pump works! coz i got engine bay sprayed, lol Put stat housing back on minus Stat, topped up and ran it Eureka! Engine no so fekkin Hot now!, heat everywhere, Yes! :D:D:D:D Temp gauge only...

Waxstat is what had packed up so i put a QH one in.
