No went out in it today - same problem (nothing) feels like accelerator pedal has been disengaged or something and then a couple of moments later it moves forward, slow to start with and then kicks in as normal.

40 PSI? I thought all Freelander Tyres were all 32 PSI as recommended by the manufacturer? Interesting though as I buy tyres from an online company had them fitted at a local garage and was surprised upon my first tyre pressure check a week or so later and they were up at 40 PSI?? I did wonder...

I did as suggested Rev the engine first in P, and then selected gear and it moved first time. I though cracked it till I got in the next morning boasting to my wife and it just stayed still and went back to its old ways!! (Nothing to do with my wife mind).

My Landy recently failed its MOT due to emissions much to my disappointment. My local garage charged me a fortune for diagnosis and as a result had to have my MAF sensor replaced and they told me it was full of sand. Is this actually possible???
I thought that was what an air filter would do...

Have owned my Freelander 1 (2005 plate) for a couple of years now and totally love it. Come to think of it I passed my driving test in a landrover back in my military days and should have stayed with them. Oh well that is insight for you.
