Thanks for the prompt reply and tips on how. I'll refer to the manual on how to take apart the steering wheel also. Would it be wise to mark the wheels position before removal? Can this be done? Will try the rear tailgate tomorrow. Thanks Andy.

    FL1 TD4. Horn stopped working.

Hello all. As above really. I have read some archive threads on it, and they refer to a clock spring? I take it that this resides in the steering wheel and makes a connection as the steering wheel turns? The threads also mention using connectors not in use like the CC. Would the clock spring...

    Freelander 1 Im going back.

Thanks all for your comments. Just looked at the original image. Any one spot the WWI shell timer in the bottom right of the pic, found at Passchendaele that one. Take care and a good New Year to all. Gary.

Hi andyfreelandy. Glad you and yours got back safe. What I am at a loss to get my head around, is some of the comments made?? Why do people go out of there way to post this stuff? Pointless waste of time that no one takes any notice of. It is sad. And you can only hope they get the real help...

    Freelander 1 Im going back.

Thanks. For the life of me I could not remember how it was fitted. With posts on this Forum stating the mod was not an advantage service wise, iv'e decided to go back to original set up. Cheers.

    Freelander 1 Im going back.

Hello all I've decided to go back and refit the crank case filter to my TD4. I kept the plastic retainer just in case. Is this all I need to return to original spec? Any advice welcome. Cheers Gary.

    replacement crankcase breather

Hello all. Well, well. I can recall threads on this forum that the Vortex Mod was the way to go! I did it myself and removed the filter and fitted it. So, Who is in support of the Mod and why? And who is not, and favours keeping the filter. It was, as it goes put forward as an up grade...
