Can someone tell me? I know the Freelander 2 is obviouly different from the Mark 1 but I hope to be buying a Mark 2 today. It is advertised as a 2007 TD4 HSE, so is the engine(BMW) and running gear the same as my 2003 Serengeti or will it have the troublesome HALDEX(Whatever that is)? thanks all

Thanks for that, Yes I paid over the odds But they did it the next day, however my local Land Rover garage couldn"t do it for 3+weeks. Your right about why it happened and I have the original Belt a MICRO-V Horizon5 PK which was knackered and looks like it snapped.

I"ve got the Freelander back with 2 new Belts Contitech 202771525 plus Contitech 20330045 and it cost me £234.33p. Was it worth it, bloody hell yes. How the hell can anyone manage without a car????
