Just about to order the recommended Pierburg pump but would be interested to hear from anyone thats found an alternative "good quality brand" ?
I know most ebay ones are short lived and very noisy. My last aftermarket one has just failed after 5 years .
Can anyone recommend an alternative oem...

Yeh trying that but my back nox is good as is the downpipe so a middle section on its own would be ideal. But it may have to be that in the end. Thanks

Thanks Nodge. Still looking for a part,its a hard find so far. Plenty listed for the LN model but near nine for the 3 door.?
Mild steel is ok by me as I cant see the beast lasting another 15 year exhaust.Search continues with mot waiting for me in 10 days time:mad:

Thanks Teddy. Yeh just phoned a L R dealer parts dept and he said the system only asks if its an auto or manual? Gen one is 1200+ or aftermarket 500 odd. I was crying and laughing at the same time when i heard that oneo_O

Hi guys. Im looking for the centre section exhaust for the td4 3 door. Finding it hard to find a supplier with stock.
Any ideas?
Also a daft question but are the 3 door and 5 door the same size in dimensions. I thought they were but the two of them seem to have different exhaust part numbers...

That looks really good and wouold be perfect for mine as i live in the sticks and its black as **** at night. How did you wire them up ?

Id try a new oil first. My old vw corrado was burning oil so stuck in some 15w50 and its been fine for a few years now.What about a bottle of stop smoke ?

Ok old thread reawakening. Today I replaced 2 mich lat tour tyres with new on back,back ones to the front.
But..... my spare is a synchrone with 5-6mm tread which I removed and stored in garage and got the near worn out lat tour from front put on as the spare.
Did I do the right thing or should...

Hi guys. As a long term lurker firstly thanks for all the Hippo tips.
Im looking at the Halfords website offer right now and was wondering if the 5w30 full synthetic would be ok to use.
Its cheap and bmw LL-01 spec.
Would this be ok ? Thanks for any replies
