mind was 2 grand and i've spent nearly 11 grand on it since so .hope youhave deep pockets because they cost mor to keep than a women. mind you mine is the dogs now and turns head young and old alike

if you cant afford 2 grand to buy a defender how you going to afford to rebuilt it ive done 5 grand doing my baby up and still only half way though it been fun though

its hard to sleep at nite with your landy and its 6 and a half grand of work sitting outside not to mention the hours of work to make it become your dream motor make sure you spend good money on keeping it safe at nite dont cut corners on security if you want a good nites kip

i have mine chained to a lampost with a £200 pound chain locked with a £100 padlock .steering lock and alarm .with the money i've spend on getting my truck cab 90 looking as good as she do'es .well at least i think she do'es.money spent on security to keep your landy safe is money well spent .do...

glad i'e read this page help me a lot as my poor old engine breathes oil from the filler cap into the airfilter .so sounds like its a better idea to put it into a catch tank .

thats good advice thanks .but still not sure which is better 300 or 200 tdi .if they were both in top condition which one would be the one to go for ? and why

before i go and spend my hard earned cash on a engine for me landy. could do with some good advice. whats the best engine to put in my diesel 90 truck cab the 200tdi or 300 tdi ?:doh:

well at least i've learned that taking my 2.5td with its lovely oil leeks out of my 90 and putting a 200 tdi won't make it go any faster because my old girl will happily do 65 .so whats the main benefit of the tdi ?

you've done a good job of religning your landy any chance you could do mine in a nice red felt .to match my winch

that felt thing is a good idea might try that myself .the range of coloured felt could make it very unique .thanks for that
