    This hit me like a bolt of lightening, but maybe a small trampoline would help?

    Hand break problem

    Had the same issue yesterday as I brought a new console, just make sure if the button is stuck in, wiggle a long thin screwdriver down it until it pops out and make sure the lever is in the down position.
