I know what you mean fella I didn't have time to prep it so I booked it in to see what it would fail on
my last d2 failed big time rotten as a pair my own fault you live and learn
is there any way of disabling the lock so it don't lock . don't mind it being left unlocked
all doors lock and un lock as they should apart from the tailgate locks fine but it takes ages for it to unlock

the flex plate is bolted to the back of the engine it also has the starter ring gear fixt to it
and the torque converter bolts to the flex plate as for changing the flex plate
that's your call to undo the bolts for the torque converter you need to take the starter motor out
to get to the bolt heads
